Want to Get Involved?

To maintain consistency and professionalism in our organization, Tempe History Society is looking for a few individuals who would like to contribute a little more than the financial support of their membership. We are actively seeking those who would be interested in joining our Board of Directors and helping shape the decisions of how our organization moves forward. Since our founding in 1969, the Society has proudly supported the preservation of our community’s history.

Over the past few years, Tempe History Society has embarked on several successful projects, from our monthly Lunch Talk lecture series to honoring those individuals–both living and deceased–who’ve shaped Tempe’s past and present in our Legend’s Reception. We hope to continue this momentum well into the future, embarking on new programs, and continuing our support and involvement with the Tempe History Museum.

Tempe History Society is a non-profit entity, registered as a 501(c)3 organization. Our Board meets once a month (second Wednesday), except for the months of July and August when we take a summer hiatus.
